Had a wonderful Easter today... Just wanted to share the little treat bags that I made up for everyone... That shimmery brown paper made perfect "chocolate" bunnies (cut using the Silhouette!!) add a little ribbon and some googley eyes, and you've got a hit :)
Check out the newest QuicKutz Silhouette release this week!! It is full of fantastic frames and shapes to make your scrapping easier!! I just love the collage frames, they're so versatile, you can use them for layouts, or cards, or projects... Here's a few of my projects with this release...
This layout features a collage frame, and made scrapping these pics from a recent day trip into Boston so quick and easy!! The State House, Constitution, and view from the top of the Bunker Hill Monument. The patterned papers are Collage Press.
I used this frame to create the layout, tuck the photos behind, and you're done in a jiffy!

If you follow my blog, you know that I love to use things in different ways, and I love to be able to create a couple projects from one cut... Here's 2 cards that I made using the same shape... I cut the photomat_2057 and used the actual mat for the first card, then used the cut out squares for the second card! One cut, 2 cards... So much fun!! The Love card uses My Minds Eye patterned papers, and the Faith card uses Paper Loft papers.
Another fabulous addition to the release were phrase circles... Anything in a cricle is just a wonderful addition to any card or layout!! Here's a card using the phrase_circle_2101and Chatterbox papers

Here's the 3rd Bo Bunny project, the Silhouette print and cut shape was released today!! So I can share it... Here's the layout:
Love those pretty Bo Bunny papers and the Bo Bunny icandy brads that coordinate!! Made the layout come together so easily!! I used my handy-dandy edge distressor and the title is a print and cut shape from QuicKutz new release... I also used a new-ish butterfly release as well!!

I thought it was time to add a few of the newest QuicKutz projects that I created for the July 2nd release... I'll add a few more in the next few days... Of course, they all use the wonderful Silhouette (and I just got my latest assignment... the new-upcoming shapes are just as fabulous!! Can't wait to show you those as well!!)

I took the shape (flipped it sideways) then also cut an offset so that it would have a little frame... I cut the letters also using the Silhouette and the font "StarJedi" The photos are from our trip last summer to Disney for "Star Wars Weekend" What a quick and easy way to fit a lot of photos on a page!
Then there's these fun little people shapes... You know me, I love to use things in ways that are different than their intention :) This card was created for Mike's cousin's wedding card (her colors were black, white and red... I had a "thing" for red and black with this release!!).
Here's the card... Some Bazzill Cardstock, and a couple of little jewels, and you have a perfect and easy wedding card.

One more installment in my love of red and black was this door sign... Sean is always trying to get his little sister to stay out of his stuff (unsuccessfully, I might add!!) So, I made this little sign for his door... I used a Zutter Art Canvas cover for the base, and some great new SIlhouette shapes...
I am pretty positive it will not scare his fearless sister out of his room, but it goes nicely with his pirate themed room :)

Also... My first 10 projects are en route to QuicKutz :) I'm a nervous wreck!!! I sooo hope that they will like them... It's so exciting, but I can't share them until the shape release this coming week :) I can share my very first Silhouette project though :) This fun card was featured on the www.funfrilled.blogspot.com challenge blog last Tuesday... I used a font from my computer (Harrington) and added an "offset" to create the border around the title... I also used many of the shapes that came with the Silhouette...
Ummmmm.... ME!!!!!! I have the MOST INCREDIBLE SCRAPPY NEWS EVER!!!!! I am just thrilled to have been asked to join the drum roll please...

QUICKUTZ Silhouette Design Team!!!
I am still shaking when I think about it!!!! I got the most wonderful call from Amy, the Design Team Manager at QuicKutz yesterday... She was so sweet!!! And she offererd me the Coolest Design Team "Job" in the scrappy world :) Can you tell I'm HUGELY excited??? I'll be working with Silhouette designs, and can't wait to post my first projects!!! Until I can show off my new assignments, I used my Revolution for the little banner above :)
